BBQ Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts will be one of your new favorite chicken dinners, made with juicy chicken breast wrapped in savory bacon and smothered in your favorite BBQ sauce, ready in under an hour!
Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Use 2-3 slices of bacon to wrap each chicken breast evenly. Place the chicken in the baking dish, tucking the bacon ends under the chicken.
Once all pieces are wrapped, pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce over chicken and spread evenly with a spoon. Reserve 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce in a separate container, so it doesn't mix with the raw chicken utensils.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Brush remaining BBQ sauce over the finished chicken and serve.

Reserve 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce in a separate container, so it doesn't mix with the raw chicken utensils.
If you want extra crispy bacon, turn the broiler on for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until bacon crisps up. Watch really closely so it doesn't burn, because the broiler is REALLY hot.
You'll probably only need 2 slices bacon for each piece of chicken, but the larger pieces may need 3.
How to Make This in the Air Fryer
Wrap the chicken in 2-3 pieces of bacon. Place the chicken in a lightly greased air fryer basket, leaving room between each piece.
Set the air fryer for 400°F and cook for 18-20 minutes. Check the internal temperature of the chicken to determine if it's ready. If needed, add an additional 8-10 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F.
