Crockpot Cabbage is an easy side dish made with fresh cabbage, vegetable broth, butter, and spices slow cooked and topped with crispy bacon before serving!
Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Carefully remove the core and cut cabbage in half, then into 1-inch pieces. Place the pieces into the slow cooker.
In a small bowl combine the spices, then add to the slow cooker. Pour the broth over the cabbage, then place the butter pieces on top.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours. In the last 20 minutes, cook the bacon until crispy.
Remove the cabbage from the slow cooker with a slotted spoon and place it in a separate bowl. Discard the liquid in the slow cooker. Top with crispy bacon and serve.
