Lemon Brownies & Lemon Glaze are a sweet, tangy twist on the traditional brownie. These still keep the dense sweet cake you know and love, but instead serve up the tangy flavor of lemon. They're topped with a sweet lemon glaze and a sprinkle of lemon zest. Best of all, they're gluten free!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one by one until completely mixed in.
Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
While mixing, slowly add flour mixture until all ingredients are combined.
Pour into baking pan and bake 20-25 minutes, or until lemon brownies just start to turn brown around edges.
Whisk together sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until all ingredients are well combined.
Pour glaze over lemon brownies evenly. Allow brownies to completely cool to let glaze set before serving.
