Amish Baked Oatmeal with Cranberries & Walnuts is a really easy and nutritious way to start your family's morning. Rolled oats baked with sweet brown sugar, dried cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, and apple make this an easy one dish breakfast kind of morning!

Ingredients
  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup granny smith apple shredded
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease a large baking dish.
  3. Add oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice and mix together.
  4. Pour in milk, eggs, applesauce, shredded apple, cranberries, and walnuts.
  5. Stir all ingredients together until well mixed.
  6. Use a spoon to flatten the top of the oat mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
Recipe Notes

Bake uncovered. Baking dish should be at least 13 x 9-inches.
