BBQ Slow Cooker Pork Loin & Sweet Potatoes is a flavorful dinner with only a few simple ingredients. Boneless pork loin is seared on all sides, then slow cooked with sweet potatoes, onion, spices, and your favorite BBQ sauce.

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 4 lb boneless pork loin roast
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  1. Heat butter in a large saut√© pan. Mix together salt, pepper, and flour. Dredge pork loin in flour and sear 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. 

  2. Place sweet potatoes and onion in slow cooker. Add pork loin on top, and sprinkle with garlic powder. Pour BBQ sauce over pork loin.

  3. Put lid on slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 hours, or HIGH for 4 hours. 

Recipe Notes

Pork loin is a less fatty cut of meat, so I would suggest using the low slow cooker setting if possible.
