Buffalo Chicken Burgers are quick and easy, made with simple ingredients like lean ground chicken, green onions, and buffalo sauce, ready in under 45 minutes!
Add all of the ingredients to a medium mixing bowl. With your hands, gently mix everything together until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
Form the mixture into 6 burger patties, pressing gently on the middle to make sure they're even. Refrigerate for 20 minutes before cooking.
On a grill over medium-high heat, cook the burgers for 5-6 minutes, then turn over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes on the other side. The burgers are done when they're fully cooked through and have an internal temperature of 165°F with a meat thermometer.
Once the burgers are done and removed from the grill, place the buns on the grill and toast for 1-2 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings, any additional buffalo wing sauce, and serve.

These burgers can take more or less time to cook depending on how thick they are.
Refrigerating the burgers helps firm up the patties, helping them hold their shape when they hit the grill.
If the patties are sticking to your hand, try adding a little bit of oil to your hands when forming them.
The burgers might shrink as they cook, so make them a little wider than you think you should.
Don't press the burgers down while cooking, this can make them release moisture and turn out more dry.
Be careful not to over-mix the burger ingredients, because it can result in dense burgers. You want everything to be just combined.
