Philly Cheese Steak Dip is steak, peppers, and onions mixed with creamy cheese and garlic. Then topped with melted provolone and served with crispy tortilla chips. It's creamy, cheesy, and the perfect dip to bring to a party!
In a medium dutch oven, add 1 tbsp butter, onion, and poblano peppers. Cook until onion is caramelized, about 5 minutes. Add steak, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until cooked through, about 5 more minutes.
Add remaining butter, cream cheese, mozzarella, and sour cream. Stir until everything is melted together.
Place provolone evenly on top of dip and move to oven. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until provolone is melted and golden brown on top.
Notes
Click on the time in the instructions to start a timer! If you want a really good golden brown color on top, melt the provolone in the oven, then turn on the broiler for 1-2 minutes. Watch it closely, the broiler can burn things really quickly!
